Josh smashed his 121 last night with the grueller circuit that we train our active boxers with when preparing for bouts! Safe to say the back end of the session was a right off but couldn’t be prouder of Josh who when he started couldn’t do 20 seconds on the treadmill let alone this circuit after 5 x 2 minutes on the treadmill!

We had and Cal out at the weekend on the show. We didn’t get the results that the performances deserved, lots of positives to take forward and the development of the boxers is testament to the commitment and training they put in

Why Lift The Lead Leg??
Lifting the lead leg in this drill exaggerates the feeling of keeping your weight where it should be — the rear leg!

It teaches you not to fall onto the front foot, keeps your posture balanced and makes it easier to move, defend and punch without getting stuck over your lead leg.

Once you can control the weight distribution, put the lead foot back down while trying to maintain that same feeling.

Simple drill. Big difference. 🥊
