Spartans support charity run in memory of Aaron Mills 🏃♀️🏃🏻♂️🧡
Aaron Mills lost his life to meningitis in January while at home from University for Christmas. Aaron was an incredible young man, with unlimited potential, but it was the way he carried himself that made him so special. He was a pure soul, kind and honest to his core. Full of fun and energy. It has been devastating for everyone that knew and loved him.
The family have been raising awareness and campaigning for a MenB vaccine for university students. Aaron's story has been influential in the government decision to protect students going to university this year. Shaun McEntee has taken on a 100 mile challenge over 5 days, with a poignant journey in memory of Aaron. From Aggborugh Stadium in Kidderminster to Anfield in Liverpool, visiting several universities on the way to raise awareness and encourage students to book in for the free vaccine.
Numerous people followed Shaun's journey at different intervals throughout the run to provide encouragement and support, Including football players' and moms from the Womens first team:
