The ponies didn't approve of this being so loud and low 🤣

Whilst at West Somerset Pony Club. 2026 Camp, a Royal Navy Wildcat ZZ377 flew over us. Zero time to mess with settings, I was just lucky to already have the shutter speed at 1/1000 but I love that you can still see motion.

Its been reported Somerset residents were likely to see it over August due to training programmes

Huge thank you to Jill Martin & Simon at Red Park Equestrian Centre for letting us use thier amazing venue monthly for our rally's and annually for camp. We are very lucky to have this venue on our door step and to give children who don't own a pony the opportunity to take part in pony club activities. The children have had so much fun at camp this week and thanks to Jill's working equitation equipment, even though we doubled our time this year we still felt like there wasn't enough time to cover all areas of the venue!

Day 2 of WSPC 2026 Summer Camp is complete! 🐴✨

​Our brilliant riders had another action-packed day full of learning, laughter, and plenty of saddle time. New friendships are blossoming, and those special bonds between pony and rider are growing stronger by the day.

​The smiles during our prize-giving said it all! The kids walked away with an amazing haul of goodies, featuring grooming kits, Pony Mag annuals, fun badges, and a whole mountain of brilliant rosettes. 🏆🥳

​A huge, heartfelt thank you to all the superstar mums, dads, nannies, and grandads who jumped in to help as grooms, and to our incredible instructors for making it all happen.

​Most importantly, a massive thank you to our DC Tash. She somehow beat the odds yet again to make camp even better than last year, completely blowing us away! We can't wait to see what she plans next—surely it can't get any better than this year... or can it?! 🤔🌟

Day 1 of the WSPC 2026 summer camp is complete!

​Our 24 riders (split into 5 groups) have had an action-packed day full of riding, learning, and fun, covering river hacking, cross country, show jumping, gymkhana, dressage, equitation, formation riding, stable management, crafts, and games, topped off with a great BBQ.

​A massive thank you to all the brilliant mums, dads, nannies, and grandads etc stepping in as superstar grooms.

​Rest up tonight—tomorrow, we do it all over again! 🐴✨

Our mounted games rallies are more for fun rather than competitive, perfect for confidence boosts or beginners.
