Woldgate Trekking centre is a fully licensed Riding school and insured for teaching on our own horses and ponies,we are a family run business that is extremely passionate about what we do. Surrounded by woodland trails and picturesque views, we also have a newly refurbished arena for private lessons. All of our horses and ponies are well trained schoolmasters of Riding Club build and type, they all have good foundations in their lateral work, are sensitive, balanced and they teach people well, we accommodate all abilities from beginners to advanced riders. We run fun mornings every Saturday and Sunday for children ages 5-16, this includes mucking out, filling hay nets, stable management lessons and a ride either in the school or on the woodland trails, this runs from 9:15 till 12:15

a ride through the quiet and peaceful countryside is £25 per person All hats are provided and shoes with a small heel are advised. For a lesson in our newly refurbished school this is £28 per person. We do have a 14 stone weight limit and all young children must be supervised. Treks and lesson times :

So to start with we are going to add children’s slots after school on Thursday and Fri evenings starting at 4.15 , prices and dates are as below 😊
45 min group lesson ( maximum of 5 per lesson) £35 per session
£30 min private £55
So as to see the most improvement out of these sessions they are to be booked in blocks of 6 with the first 3 sessions payable upfront and the last 3 sessions to be paid after the 3rd session or all 6 can be paid upfront 😊 this is to ensure the same people are in the same lessons each week so our instructors can carry out successful lesson plans 😃
So the first block of 6 dates for group lessons are
Thursday 24 th September
Friday 25th September
Through to
Thursday 29th October
Friday 30 th October
Times are
5pm - beginner/novice group
6 pm walk trot ( intro to canter)
7 pm canter /jump

There will be a private slot at 4.15 Thur and Fri but this is available for booking week by week but must be paid upfront 😊
