💪 Happy Monday Everyone

06/10/2026

Brigg parents / local families, we’ve opened a few beginner places in our Traditional Jiu-Jitsu class this October.

If you or your child have ever thought about trying martial arts but worried it might be too intimidating, too competitive, or that you’d need experience first, this is designed for exactly that.

We’ve got 10 beginner places available for our Monday 6:30pm class at The Brigg Martial Arts Centre.

For £14.99, you get a 3-week beginner experience where you can learn practical self-defence, throws, locks and groundwork in a safe, welcoming class.

Ages 7+, complete beginners welcome, and there is no pressure to compete.
Parents can also train alongside their child, and if the child joins KRMA, parents can use our Couch to Red Belt programme and train free until their first belt.

If you’d like one of the 10 places, just message the page or visit www.KRMA.co.uk.

🌍🏆 FROM NORTH LINCOLNSHIRE TO THE WORLD STAGE 🏆🌍

What an achievement.

14 KRMA competitors travelled to the WMAC World Championships 2026 and returned with an incredible:

🥇 5 Gold
🥈 13 Silver
🥉 19 Bronze

37 World Championship medals.

And this was no easy weekend. The standard was extremely high, the divisions were tough and every medal had to be earned.

But what makes us proudest isn't simply the medal count.

It's seeing children, teenagers and adults who train here in North Lincolnshire step onto an international stage, represent England and show what years of hard work, courage and commitment can lead to.

Every one of them started somewhere.

A first class.
A first technique.
A first belt.
A first competition.

And now, the World Championships.

We are incredibly proud of every competitor, coach, parent and supporter who helped make this possible.

14 competitors. 37 medals. One incredible team.
