Sorry to disappoint, but no we are not talking about 12 revealing photos of our club members. This is a little tease of what’s to come with NBHD in 2022, Twenty Twenty Too Much Goodness.

>> NBHDxASCNDcc Global Ride.
Kicking off the year this coming Saturday.
As part of ASCNDs Global ride taking place across 5 different countries we will be hosting a group ride around Sussex. This ride will be all about spinning legs, and support, and open conversation to help in ASCND's mission to raise awareness of mental health.
Saturday 26 February.

>> Big Smokes.
A London to Brighton group ride with a social to finish. We are planning on riding with some of our London friends.

>> Roadie vs Mud 2.0.
The smooth leg squad have some making up to do. This year there will be prizes.

>> BM Weekend Ride.
10 April, ride through the closed streets of Brighton.

>> Hair of the Hound
Return of our infamous Hare and Hounds, not a UCI event so you can strap a rocket to your bike if you want.

>> Its Rye Wre Ride Brikes.
A day trip out to Rye, long lunch and a stretch, crawl home.

>> Fortnightly Weekenders.
Once the weather improves enough to be somewhat consistent we will be starting a fortnightly weekend group ride. We hope to tie in the rides with NBHD Gravel so we can all enjoy coffee and croissants together

>> Fancy a Swift Half.
Summer time will see the return of our Thursday night beer run.

Closed Brighton roads, 50k course, cheering crowds, and groups of strangers in some of the tightest and brightest Lycra this side of Kemp Town. What more could you ask for? A medal?.. that’s included.

A bunch of us will be riding the BM Ride as part of the 2022, and we would love anyone and everyone to join us. It will be the first official NBHD group ride of 2022 so we hope to make it a big one, with faces new and old.

It’s not a race, but last one across the finish line buys the first round of beers.

We are super excited be taking part in the ASCND Global Ride Out this coming Saturday.

We want as many people as possible to join us, so we have chosen a route where people can cut back, cut off, or extend their ride as they wish.

This event is going to be a cross-time zone community ride, all in name of supporting ASCND and their positive and powerful actions towards tackling mental health.

We wanted to be a part of the work of .cc for a while now, because NBHD was born from a desire to improve mental health through the activity and community of cycling, to provide a space where everyone can feel welcome and supported.

The aim and hope of this ride alongside all the others around the globe is that by engaging in conversation, being inspired by those around you, knowing you have people out there, will help take steps towards reducing the stigma surrounding discussing mental health and getting help.

As a club and community we feel honoured to be able to take part, and hope to see you there.

The race team, is growing strong. is doing an amazing job as team captain, treasurer, kit designer, coach, scout.

Now it’s time to announce the latest arm/leg of Neighbourhood. Neighbourhood Brighton Gravel 🧡🧡🧡🪨🤘
This will he headed up by the original NBCC OG a man who knows his way around gravel, rocks, rubble, mud, puddles, chalk, and cheese toasties.

Keep your eyes peeled for more info, including future club rides that won’t involve tarmac 🤯

Sooooper excited to welcome an absolute power house of a rider to the club and race team… drum roll please… the weapon that is catching her on a podium at an event near you ✌️

More racing last night, this time at the circuit.

Big night all round for the NBCC kids. It was first ever race, super stoked for the dude!

Then , our indy beer swigging lady rocket, got herself 8th place in the women’s TT. BOOM

Last nights at . Between puncture on the first lap 🥺, and blowing up after trying for another solo breakaway 💥 , we didn’t manage any podium positions, but it was still epic good fun times. RACING IS BACK BABBBEEEEEH

Start location: Ditchling Beacon car park (whoof)

2 routes for 2 groups.

1. Captain Keenos. This group will ride the full route, this will be the fast group, don’t forget to dose your EPO at least 24 hours before turning up.

2. Cafe social. This group is a more chilled affair, nobody left behind, pace is whatever the group wants to ride. This group will ride the pink route.

Timing should work so that everyone arrives at the cafe at the same time for coffee, croissants, and compliments of everyone’s smooth calves 🥐

Last weekend Neighbourhood rode their first Crit race 🌶 🌶 For everyone it was either their first race, or first race back after many years. Needless to say they all smashed it! even got to lift victory trophies (of sorts...) 😉
Shout out to for keeping the wheels turning so smoothly. Bring on the race season ♥️

This Friday our very own human cottage of wattage will be hosting an Alpe du Zwift 🤢🤮 climbing event. It won’t just be first up the virtual mound, it will take into account suffer score. Winner gets bragging rights, and an awesome imaginary trophy to put in their imaginary trophy case.
