Part of Brighton Youth Centre BYC Skatepark is Brighton's only indoor skate facility. The park is exclusively for skateboarding, and is accessible to people of all ages and abilities. The park features obstacles of varied sizes and difficulty to suit all levels. Skateboards and protective equipment are always available to use for free for those without their own! Our popular tuition courses run throughout the year and have helped hundreds of children and adults to start skateboarding.

We still have some spaces for our last beginners course of the summer starting on Tuesday, as well as some private lessons available through the week. Take a look on the website or please share with anyone you might think is interested. We also have open sessions every day to help you dodge those showers 🌧️

As always we are closed this Saturday for Pride weekend. Street closures make it near impossible to get to us anyway.

If you haven’t had a peek already then a reminder that our full summer schedule is up online and starts Monday. We also have beginners and private lessons available to book on there.
If you’ve had any confusion over anything when looking at our site recently then we apologise; we’ve been having some teething problems with it the last few weeks but are about back on track. You can always give us a message if anything is unclear.

Our term time lessons are all wrapped up for the school year. Heading in to summer we have some beginners courses running as well as private lessons all available to book now online. 10 years ago today BYC Skatepark reopened as a brand new all-wood facility, bringing the space up to modern standards and creating a new era for BYC in its long history of servicing skateboarding in Brighton. Over that decade we’ve had a wicked team of staff who have supported thousands of people to come through the doors to skate, learn, challenge themselves and make new connections.
Now 10 years later we’re lucky to still be here on the top floor - now of a brand new building with the project in the best position it’s ever been in.
To mark this occasion what better time to make a small update to our image as we continue to develop our programme and push to keep doing even more of what we love to do. Thank you to everyone who’s been there for us in all this time, and here’s to 10 more years of Brighton skateboarding 🥂
