✨Highlights from our "Darkness and Light" spring workshop in London last week.
🕯️We explored two of Françoise Chantraine's choreographies: 'Darkness' to the music of Johann Sebastian Bach and 'Totoro' to the music of Joe Hisaishi.

I'm very excited to share this new short film funded by the Friends of Chantraine.
It's a documentary capturing the story of the Chantraine School of Dance in the UK. It offers a glimpse into life inside a Chantraine dance class, and follows the journey of our Gala performance last year.

Happy International Choreographers Day!
Françoise Chantraine is a dancer, choreographer and teacher who has been highly honoured in France and by UNESCO for her contributions to dance. Her repertoire of over 180 choreographies contains rich imagery and poetic meaning, and is set to a wide spectrum of music from all over the world.
Françoise founded the Chantraine School of Dance in 1958 with her husband Alain, and her choreographies continue to be taught and performed in classes and events across the UK and France.
