“This is a safe space.”
“Everyone is welcome here.”
“I treat everyone the same.”
When LGBTQIA+ people hear these things, it doesn’t necessarily put our minds at rest. 👀
Because inclusion and safety aren’t just something we say or write on our website.
It’s something people experience.
Something they feel.
And often, the difference between a space that claims inclusion and one that actually helps us feel welcome, seen, and affirmed shows up in the details:
✨ The language you use.
✨ What’s written on your intake forms and website.
✨ How visible your allyship is.
✨ How your practice evolves to include diverse genders and sexualities.
✨ Whether people feel they can fully exhale in your spaces.
And these things aren’t small details.
They’re often the very things that shape whether LGBTQIA+ people actually experience a space as welcoming, affirming, and safer to be in.
And why we say ‘safer space’ rather than safe space…
Because safety isn’t something we get to declare on behalf of other people.
None of us can guarantee that everyone entering a space will experience it as safe.
What we absolutely can do is intentionally work to create spaces that are safer.
And for LGBTQIA+ people searching for inclusive, welcoming wellness services and support - this really matters.
And it’s exactly the kind of conversation we’ll be stepping into at 🌈 Proud Allies: Awareness to Action on 24th June in Brighton at
Practical, grounded, real-world inclusion work for wellness practitioners who want to do better and welcome more LGBTQIA+ clients into their spaces.
If that’s you, we’d love to have you in the room

How would your clients describe your wellness spaces?
Imagine an LGBTQIA+ person walking into your studio, therapy room, gym or online space for the first time…
> Would they feel comfortable being fully themselves? 🏳️⚧️✨🏳️🌈
> Would they feel welcome, included, and affirmed by the ways you hold space? 💛
> Would they leave feeling supported and wanting to return? 🙏
Because inclusive practice isn’t defined by our intentions.
It’s shaped by how people actually experience our spaces.
LGBTQIA+ people are still walking into wellness environments where they feel unseen, excluded, and alienated.
And none of us want that. 😔
We know that wellness practitioners care deeply about LGBTQIA+ inclusion - but there’s not enough guidance, support, and learning available to help you bring that to life in your spaces.
That’s where we come in! 🤩✨
📢 Proud Allies: Awareness to Action is an in-person gathering for wellness practitioners who want to move beyond good intentions and into meaningful, values-led action. 🔥🙌
Because LGBTQIA+ people deserve wellness spaces where they can fully exhale and benefit from all the amazing wellness services you have to offer! ✨

👋 Hey wellness practitioners- where are you at in your LGBTQIA+ allyship? 🌈✨
Most practitioners don’t sit at the final stage of our model - and that’s okay… ☺️
…but where you’re at right now DOES shape how welcome, included, and supported LGBTQIA+ people feel in your spaces.
Our allyship and inclusivity is already impacting people’s experiences - whether we realise it or not.
Right now, too many LGBTQIA+ people are still walking into wellness spaces where they don’t feel fully able to be themselves… 😔
Or choosing not to walk in at all. 💔
And that’s exactly why allyship work matters!
📌 Many practitioners find themselves in the “supportive but unsure” stage - caring deeply, but not always confident about what LGBTQIA+ inclusion action looks like in practice.
💡This is exactly the work we’ll be stepping into together at Proud Allies: Awareness to Action on 24th June. 🌈💫
