Every shirt tells a story.

And this is what I’ll be wearing next week for Global Running Day 2026.

To me, this shirt holds more value than any personal best.

Sitting out from the Edinburgh Marathon was a kick in the teeth, but the right decision.

That’s the way the cookie crumbles. Doesn’t mean it doesn’t sting.

But getting stuck into the next challenge is the best cure.

That’s the lesson I learnt.

Don’t wallow. Don’t cry over spilt milk.

Get back on the bull and send it into the next challenge that puts you out of your comfort zone.

That’s what this shirt means to me.

Global Running Day 2026 is coming up on the 3rd of June, and with it comes a bounty of success stories within our community that it would be criminal not to celebrate them over the coming weeks

A lot can change in 12 months
