The best cyclists in the world have made strength training a non-negotiable.
PogaΔar's coach calls it a "fundamental pillar" of his training. This spring he lined up at the Tour of Flanders visibly bigger than any previous version of himself - and won.
Vingegaard did the same ahead of the 2025 Tour. The trend at the top is unmistakable.
The reason? Cycling is a non-impact sport. Your cardiovascular system gets the work it needs on the bike - but your muscles and bones don't. Strength training fills that gap, and the performance benefits are real:

Week 30: Precision Under Pressure. π
Two sessions that reward control over raw power - variable endurance work on changing terrain, followed by precision threshold targets with fatigue already in the legs. Add in Bank Holiday brick sessions and community rides on Wednesday and Saturday, and it's a full week of riding whatever way you like it.

Now that we are in our Summer program, we've made a small change to Sundays.
No classes - just open road.
We want our community out riding when the sun's out, so we're clearing the schedule and handing the weekend back to you.
The will still be open, so make sure you stop by after your ride to refresh.
Don't forget our free weekly community rides on a Saturday too.
