New month | New goals 💥
Sometimes I find new month can feel extremely refreshing, it can be a great time to make new goals for yourself both big & small. This can be in daily life, work or health. Whatever they may be make sure there are attainable for you! Be realistic in what you are able to achieve so that you smash it and can move on to bigger goals the next month. I have set a few goals for myself this month, one of them being to enjoy sleep, quite simple really but I haven’t had the best relationship with sleep for a while. It’s a really simple life change that quite literally can transform you. (TOP TIP: if you haven’t got black out curtains or a black out blind go invest in one. We have just moved and it has changed the sleeping game!)

1 year till I get to marry this one! (Hopefully 😂) the countdown begins 🧡 also a big shoutout to my wonderful friends and James who are finally getting married 1 week today 💕 they truly deserve such a special day and we cannot wait to celebrate with you!

Move for your mind, move for your body, move for your soul, MOVE for you! || There will always be something we want to change about our bodies aesthetically. That will never go away. And it’s exhausting. That constant pressure to look a certain way, to be a certain weight but what about just being the HEALTHIEST you. A you that gets up in the morning revitalised from sleep, a you that cannot wait to move your body, a you that enjoys the nutrient rich foods because they make you feel nourished. Forget the aesthetics of the goal you have set yourself & instead focus on how your body actually feels. MOVE because it feels good. Move because it means that walking up a flight of stairs is that little bit easier or simply MOVE so that playing in the park with your kids/grandchildren/niece/nephew is the best feeling in the world. I know it’s easier said than done but start small - go for a walk. Then because I know it will make you feel good, go for a walk the next day. The next day walk with a friend. Run a little bit. Grab your dusty weights and start lifting. Do a bit of stretching. Eat more veggies than you ever have in a single day. Drink lots of water. The more you do, the better you will feel & your lifestyle will simply change. Tune in to your body and listen. It’s giving you all the signals you need🌿

| Wearing something other than gym clothes now this is rare! I loved it. I don’t ever follow trends as you can’t really being preloved but you know it’s actually quite liberating. I definitely found a new love for wearing this skirt today which I have hardly touched since I bought it and this top which has an open back so it’s super airy which is great in the heat! Also I have been trying to wear pieces that I haven’t worn in forever to see how they make me feel in them - if they don’t serve me they may serve someone else so they go in the to swap or to donate pile 👌🏼🌿

Aubergine curry with cashews (plus lentils which were added later) and a side of rice 🌿 (Says the girl who never ate vegetables without squirming till the age of 26. I then went vegan and really had no choice - I was either a healthy vegan or I wasn’t.)
Aubergines are so versatile. You can roast them, boil them, or fry them. Make them the focus of a meal or add them with other veggies. I missed out on them for so many years and it’s fair to say I’m catching up!
Remember no matter what happens to try and eat real food as much as possible. Move daily and find your work life balance🥦🍓🍇🍅🙈🥑🥕🍊 **try and ignore the fad diets and weight loss programs**

Sometimes a workout can look a little different...it’s fair to say I was absolutely dripping with sweat and covered in mud after a day of working in the gardens! Never underestimate the power everything you do!✨

Always & forever (from now on) sewing, cutting and reusing my clothes! I now have two pairs of fitness shorts from old leggings that had holes in that couldn’t be fixed properly and were luckily low enough to make some cycling shorts! Particularly handy at the moment 🔥 keep moving team, even if it’s slow controlled lifting of a refreshing drink! Happy Sunday!

Just breaking up your insta feed with my stretches marks, spots and blotchy skin ✌🏻for sooooo long I hated these marks and would hate being in a bikini because of them! They literally came overnight when my ass decided to make an appearance & all I did was compare my b***y to the airbrushed skin of celebrities in magazines 🍑 now I feel a duty to my younger self and to every person shamed for something they have absolutely no control over to normalise UN-airbrushed skin! Every year these marks get deeper but I’m determined to be proud of them. So yes ladies, show of your unedited skin and help your younger self feel empowered 🙌🏻✨
