That’s a wrap. The final summer kids coaching session took place today on the brilliant trails Queen Elizabeth Country Park - Hampshire County Council maintained by QECP Trail Collective.
Thanks to everyone who came along, supported what we do and the parks facilities. Next up October half term for scheduled sessions or DM us for private sessions. Music from a true legend

Big shout out to Troy Lee Designs | Bicycle | UK and Silverfish for setting us up with youth “Rock Fight” back and chest protection. We are often asked by parents at our weekly coaching sessions for recommendations on chest protection. We’ve been using Rock Fight with D3O for our BPW trips and love the versatility. We can now showcase the kit. Thanks TLD and Silverfish.

Kids Summer Skills session week two. Almost 10 degrees cooler ❤️. Great session with Stacey and Tony Pocock with four new kids and one returning. This week we took advantage of the early morning rain to run through bike control on slightly slippery surfaces and develop flat cornering techniques. The kids continue to amaze us in how quickly they pick up the techniques.

Brilliant morning Queen Elizabeth Country Park - Hampshire County Council coaching Oli and his son ahead of a trip to Morzine. Stacey on the 🎥.
One of the best sessions we’ve had seeing a fantastic level of progression and feedback. Using a feedback loop of “how did that feel” then showing the video and running through frame by frame. For Oli, the main problem was the feeling of not getting the back wheel airborne. Having the benefit of a FS and a HT available meant we could rotate the bikes and see how each one felt. A first for us to be able to incorporate both Skills Areas, the Blue and the Red Trails. Great to see the MTB Trails and Skills Area so busy yesterday. The revamped Red Trail jump line and descent “Snake Bite” was certainly proving to popular. Awesome work by volunteers. We look forward to incorporating the descent into our MTB Skills Coaching content. 🤛
