Interested in joining our club? We welcome anyone new to pop along for a free trial. It’s a great chance to trial out a class and ask any questions you may have about training with us.

Our free trial is available for both adults and children at either our Brighton or Hove venue.

All our kids sessions are beginner friendly and the majority of our adult sessions are too (there are only a few that we wouldn’t recommend for new members which the trial pass will not allow you to book onto).

People come to the UK in desperate need of sanctuary and a safe space, many refugees and asylum seekers have fled war and persecution. Many have travelled for years to get here. At Nam Yang we want to offer them all a safe space and a friendly environment where everyone is welcome. A home and family away from home.
We offer free training to all refugees and asylum seekers. We want to make martial arts and combat sports accessible to all people.

Over the last 4 years Nam Yang Brighton have raised nearly £7,000 for various charities, organisations and individuals through our community of members. This included sending an instructor to a war torn country to deliver kickboxing sessions in a refugee camp, raising money for kids in a 3rd world country to buy new school bags and winter clothes, supporting a member's family who's house burnt down, raising money for a local school PTA and raising money for local individuals with long term illnesses. We believe so strongly in helping each other out and doing whatever we can, especially for those most hard hit. This time it is our club in need of some support. So once again we are calling on our community but also anyone who could help. We are raising funds for 2 of our junior members so that we can send them to the Savate Kickboxing World Championships in Slovenia in June. Both were selected for their victories at the GBSF Nationals. So this Monday(29th May) from 4pm at our Brighton gym we will be hosting a sponsored spar to raise money for them. We would love to have people along to support Mack and Amelie or throw your gloves on and get in the ring with them! Any support is much appreciated and if you could spare a pound or two to help them on their way that would be amazing. You'll find their donation link in our bio. Fantastic weekend of Savate at the National Junior Championships. 2 National Champions, well done Amelie and Mack. And 2 wins a piece for Jack and Rue. Well done to everyone today who participated. And a massive thanks to Joe and Oonagh Ferris for all their hard work putting on a such a well run event.
