Ladies Get into Golf Day - Part 2🏌️‍♀️

After the incredible success of our first event earlier in the summer, we are hosting another Ladies Get into Golf Day on Sunday 13th September!!

Make sure to come along and give the sport ago, where you can enjoy a range of fun activities hosted by our head professional Nick Davis, supplemented by a selection of cakes and drinks in the clubhouse after🍰

Congratulations to David Pitts on winning the Gelston Trophy 2026🏆

Back in 1968 David’s Dad was an optician and Johnny Gelston was a patient of his and encouraged him to get David into golf🏌🏼‍♂️

David then caddied at the Gelston Trophy for Mary Turton, the next Hon Sec in 1972 and she got 43 points

He then played in the afternoon and shot 75 giving him 43 points but lost on count back to Mary

Fast forward 54 years and David got 43 points again, but this time came on top⛳️

A long time in the making💚

A throwback to our Club Captains Day⛳️

Our wonderful Captain Adam hosted a very successful day which included an 18 hole Texas scramble followed by a buffet by Clay, a generous raffle and prize giving🍻🏌🏼‍♀️

It was amazing to see so many members play in support of Adam and his chosen Charity Alzheimer’s Society💙

We raised lots of money and the day was a huge success!🥂
