For a lot of us, being furloughed from work is an incredible opportunity to reevaluate our lives, take a step back and take stock.

That doesn't mean what you do now for a living isn't worthwhile or right for you as it is but there might well be elements you can change or things you can do outside of work to bring balance.

Whatever the outcome, I absolutely LOVE this Japanese way of looking at things.

Where would you sit on this model?

I'm gonna be honest and say that was frickin hard work.

The trails were unwalkable, I could barely stand up let alone run and I had no idea where I was half the time... Thank god for Garmin courses! Every step forward involved about two steps in every other direction!

But my god, it was spectacular.

It's always there, when it's the most challenging that we learn the most about ourselves.

Most of the time, we are capable of more than we think.

Screw 'resistance training', this was 'resilience training'.

If you want to grow, you've got to put yourself in uncomfortable situations.

As says, you got to be hard when it gets hard.

Building is crucial in helping us overcome adversity when we face mental or emotional challenges in life.

Going running when the chips are down, it's pi***ng with rain, windy and cold teaches us to cope with difficulties in a healthy way.

It's the key to developing a Positive Mental Attitude and changing your world for the better.

So, get out there, get after it and be impeccable with your word.

You're capable of more than you think.

I really didn't feel like running this morning, in fact, I REALLY didn't feel like doing anything at all.

But I knew I needed to. So I .

Then I felt I could do anything.

Mood follows action. ALWAYS.

Don't forget that when you're making excuses. The grind is always worth the effort.

Come join the team.

You're capable of more than you think.

Hear that.

Most runners I know spend any time they have to train on and little else.

But, if you wanna make serious gainz on the road, trail or track, you've got to start lifting.

Not just that but if you're serious about developing mental , lifting heavy will change your life.

It teaches you to feel weight and push back into it, not collapse under it. And if that's not a metaphor for life, I don't know what is.

If you're not sure where to start and want some advice, ain't no stronger place to start than the coaches coach and all round good guy at .

You're capable of more than you think.

Don't ever forget it.

Whether you feel like tonight or not, just get at it.

You WILL feel better for it.

Simple.
