🦁 U13 GIRLS | TRUE WARRIORS 💙⚽️

Yesterday’s fixture against Whitstable FC couldn’t go ahead as our opposition were unable to fulfil the fixture. Despite our coaches’ best efforts, a last-minute friendly couldn’t be arranged either.

So what do you do with a squad hungry to play football, the sun shining and a pitch still booked? Get the girls together for an inter-squad friendly! 🙌☀️⚽️

More touches, more learning and another opportunity to grow together as a team.

A big thank you to our coaches for pulling out all the stops, and to every player and family who came along. That commitment and enthusiasm are what make this squad so special 💙🩶

True Warriors! 🦁🔥

⚽️ From a 9–1 defeat to a 3–3 draw in just three weeks - what progress from our U11s! 🙌

Our U11 team are in their first season together in the JPL, and when we build teams at Sussex RTC, player development is at the heart of everything we do. Today was a brilliant example of that progress. 💙

There’s so much to learn when a new team comes together, and every training session and match is another opportunity to grow.

Well done, team! We look forward to watching you continue to learn, develop and grow throughout the season. 👏

Both of our U13 teams had their games cancelled today, but they weren’t going to miss out on football! ⚽️

A last-minute friendly saw the players step up a year to face Hailsham U14s away. They rose to the challenge and came away with a 1–0 win — and judging by these smiles, they enjoyed every minute! 🙌💙

Well played, everyone, and thank you to Hailsham for the game.

3 games. 3 wins. What a start for our new U12 team! 💙🩶⚽

In their first JPL league campaign, this group is already showing what determination, teamwork and a willingness to learn can achieve. Today’s 9–1 away win against Starters Academy was another brilliant team performance.

The results are exciting, but seeing the players grow in confidence, support one another and develop with every game makes us even prouder. Well done, U12s - keep working hard and enjoying the journey! 👏

🏅 U14 Man of the Match - Jack!

A brilliant performance against tough opposition. Jack made some outstanding saves, kept talking to his teammates and delivered excellent passes out to the wingers.

Coach Dan called it “an all round great performance.” Well done, Jack! 👏🧤💙

A brilliant performance from Bobby today across midfield and defence. Coach Ethan praised his composure on the ball, said he won every duel and kept the team playing throughout the match.

⚽ GAME DAY 7 | OUR JPL JOURNEY CONTINUES 💙🩶

Another opportunity to learn, compete and put the week’s training into action. 💪

💙 STILL UNBEATEN. STILL GROWING TOGETHER.

Another strong performance from our U13 Girls Warriors, securing a 3–1 home win against AFC Greenwich Borough! 👏⚽️

The majority of this squad played up an age group last season to challenge themselves and accelerate their development. They committed to our programme, trusted the process and kept working - and that hard work is now showing in their performances and results. 💪

This week, our girls retain their place at the top of the league table, alongside top of table position in their League Cup campaign. 🏆

Proud of their progress, their commitment and the team they’re becoming. Development first — with plenty more to come! 💙🩶⚽️

👀 READY TO BECOME A WARRIOR?
Our coach is looking to add a defender to this talented squad. If your daughter is in Year 8 and ready for a bigger challenge, DM us to arrange a trial!
