Hope you’re having a good weekend!
Just to let you know, we are collecting good‑quality second‑hand swimwear, including all‑in‑ones, swimming costumes and swim shorts for babies aged 3 months+, children and adults. Swim nappies are also appreciated.
These items will be donated to a UK swim school that sends teachers to Jamaica each summer to provide swimming lessons in deprived communities. As part of their work, they gift each participant swimwear that they would otherwise struggle to afford.
If you’re able to contribute any of the items mentioned, please bring them along the next time you come to swimming. Donations will be accepted from now until February half term.
Many thanks,
Rebecca, Vicky & Team

18/11/25 – NO SWIMMING TODAY PLEASE DO NOT ATTEND:
SCHOOL CLOSED DUE TO WATER SUPPLY ISSUE
I’ve just been informed that the school has had to close this afternoon because of a loss of water supply. Unfortunately, this means they are unable to meet essential health and safety standards, particularly around sanitation.
The school is working closely with Southern Water to resolve the issue, and I expect to receive an update tomorrow morning regarding when they will be able to reopen.
As for today’s cancelled swimming session, a replacement session is planned for December (date to be confirmed). Once the school provides confirmation, I will send out a text with the details.
Thank you for your understanding,
Rebecca, Vicky & Team
Just a reminder that there will be no swimming today, 24/09/25, due to the High School’s Open Evening.
Looking forward to seeing you next week!

We hope you’ve had a wonderful summer!
Just a quick reminder — swimming resumes today!
Parking is available in the school car park, located beyond the blue gates. Kindly avoid using the community centre or library spaces, as these are permit-only. For everyone’s safety, please drive slowly and observe the 5MPH speed limit when entering and exiting the car park.
Looking forward to seeing you soon!
Rebecca, Vicky & Team 😊
Just a reminder that this is our final week of swimming and our last day of term is on the 18/07/25.
Wishing you a wonderful summer break!

PWSG Swimming Cancelled – 09/05/25
Unfortunately, the pool has been unavailable this week due to high chemical levels. The good news is that repairs have been completed, and chlorine levels are nearly back to normal! However, the school has advised that the pool needs a little more time to settle, so it will remain closed today and over the weekend.
Swimming will resume on Monday! Have a fantastic weekend, and see you next week!
Rebecca, Vicky & Team 😊

I have just been informed by the school that the pool’s chemical levels are still too high, making it unsafe for swimming today. As a result, please do not attend. I understand this may be disappointing, but rest assured, the site staff are working diligently to restore the pool to safe conditions.
