The Outcasts originally played for Hove RFC, but at the end of the 2014-2015 season we moved on to pastures new and to our new home at Brighton Rugby Club.
Founded in 2000, we are a social side aged 18 to 50+

Congrats Morgan & proud Dad, Chris! How far have you come from kicking our conversion at Windsor Chris Jones
Congratulations to Hove boy Morgan Adderly-Jones on his debut for Gloucester Rugby against Worcester last night at the tender age of 19. And to Chris Jones, his old man, sometime coach, mentor and Hove Beefeater stalwart. We're delighted and proud in equal measure - the sky's the limit Morgan!

Bad news i am afraid as tomorrow's trip to Windsor has had to be cancelled due to so many Outcasts being away for school holidays etc. I am sorting a new date for my last game and should be able to update this page in next few days.

Hello all you Outcasts and rugby loving reprobates.
Firstly apologies for the total radio silence but life has made rugby take a back foot for me this last year. This has meant that the Outcasts days as a team playing regular season games are now over.
We had a brilliant twenty years winning loads of cups and league titles but it is now time for the team to change into more of a social team which maybe plays the odd charity game of rugby or Softball, and, of course, meets for drinks to continue to take the mickey out of each other.
This team has given me some of my greatest memories and some of my best friends in life and i do not regret a single moment of the time i spent running it.
Now as you all know, and my wife constantly reminds me, i have retired several times but never quite left!!! But it is now time i play my last game and as i always enjoyed our trips to Windsor that is the pitch that i will last lace my boots up for the final rail against the dying of the light.

A coach is booked which will leave from the phonebox at 11.30. Cost is £15 per person and if we fill it we will have a couple of hundred in the drinks fund. Bank details are at the end of this email.
I would love to fill this coach for my last game and go out with a bang and i will be chasing loads of you up over next couple of days. No crap excuses boys and girls as this really is my last game so put some effort in to making it and hassle anyone you think should be coming. I know several of you now live in London so let me know if you are going direct.

Well the team who cannot get a game of rugby have finally got one. We are away today in the quarter finals of the cup against Crowborough. KO 2pm and we are leaving the phone box at 11.45. Could do with a couple more men so if you are free then come on down. x x
The outcasts lost today 35 to 17 against Hastings. It was a great game and Hastings were superb visitors. thank you for the game gentlemen. Going forward the Outcasts have lost a lot of men but the messages i have received from missing men mean we should be back to full strength soon. We have some new blood coming through but could do with some more to keep the outcasts going. What i really need is an eight man, a centre and a scrum half so go recruit boys . I will put a fixture list up tomorrow night.

Good morning all you lovely people.
So after a long absence the Outcasts and me are back. What a rotten start to a season as we have had five of our first seven games canceled by the opposition and the other two 'rearranged' The league began with eight teams and already two, Chichester and Bognor, have dropped out. The league has now been scrapped and we are now in a merit table. I will try to explain this better tomorrow.
Big news is we are finally playing and we have just had confirmation that today's game is on. We are playing Hastings Seconds at home on the main pitch kicking off at 2pm so i need you there at 13.00 to practice drop kicks. Yes we should be running through a full warm up but we always just practice drop kicks. Numbers may be tight but got lots of Outcasts in already so grab anyone you can who fancies a game and get down there. Gorgeous George Whiting is back to captain and the new slimline Chris McQuoid will be showing up his world beating side step.
