🔵 A Recently published peer reviewed study of almost ten thousand participants found that those who stop taking skinny jabs/ appetite suppressants returned to their beginning weight within 1.7 years.
It’s also worth recognising that all positive changes to cardio matabolic markers (Hba1c, fasting glucose, systolic blood pressure, total cholesterol and triglycerides) were reversed too.
In addition it was noted that for those taking glp-1’s a programme of resistance exercise became more important not less, in order to maintain muscle and bone mass.

🟠I am not a fan of the “clean eating” brigade, but I am a fan of eating the best quality of food that you can manage.
Observationally, as I have worked with clients over the years, the closer beef is to a cow, the better. The closer a carrot is to a carrot, the better (carrot cakes don’t count).
An illustration? How many boxed, low quality burgers do you think you’d eat vs fillet steak, before being satisfied?
🟠Quality foods, as close as possible to the crop will increase satiety (feelings of being full) and decrease the amount you want/ need to eat.
The more lower quality foods we eat, the more we want.
Work to honour your body and mind with the best nutrients that you can get hold of and eat.

🔵Helping you to feel proud is all part of a days work for us, reducing frustration and self criticism so that you can live your best life, just like our Client Linda.
At just over 7 decades young, she is proud to say that she does 2 PT sessions a week and upto 3 classes, she’ll also do her own workout where she can’t get to class……. Come rain or shine, hot or cold, Linda is there grafting….. and the same approach with her nourishment plans.
Age is as bigger factor as you allow it to become.

Too busy for reflection? Try this…..
I get it, you spend the morning prepping the kids for school, the day time with a to do list the size of your 💪
You get home, make dinner, chill for a couple of hours, sleep and then repeat it all again tomorrow.
Without reflection we overlook intention, and as such take no action to progress….. try this simple one question reflection:
Have my actions and habitd today supported my aspirations for the future? If not, consider how might you realistically do better tomorrow (notice the emphasis on realistically).
