I wanted to share some thoughts about our current situation. Most of us are isolating at home, some still work on the front lines to fight the virus and they are heroes, lets support them.
For ninja, this is an important time. There are such important lessons for a ninja to learn in isolation. It is a time of quiet, a time of reflection and anticipation.
Good warriors are not the ones that are able to fit in to times of war but ones that are able to learn to live in peace and respect life. This is the highest teachings of ninjutsu to live and help others to find the light of life.
So, take this time of isolation and social distance as a time to discover more about yourself, to appreciate the important things in life. What is of value and what is not of value, the importance of friends, family and the community.
This is an alternative to the survival of the fittest, it is the survival of the community. Even the cave dwellers of the past soon learnt that they needed to be a community to survive the winters, the difficult times.
As ninjutsu practitioners we use our skills to support the community and ensure life can be lived, even by the most vulnerable in our society.

At the moment it is not possible to predict how long we will need to suspend training for, as the covid-19 situation is fast evolving.
