There is an aversion to slowing down in modern life.

Our Wellness Morning powered by
This morning was full of laughter, chatter, smiles and connection.
It’s so easy to think that online communication is connection.
We message people, we see their lives in little pictures… but some of the richness of human connection is missing.
We don’t give or receive as many hugs.
We don’t look people in the eyes and take in how their face changes when they laugh.
We see text written but miss the body language that would accompany it.
This event was so full of connection it reminded me how important creating this space is. Time where people can come on their own or with a friend. Meet new people with shared interests or take some time out for unhurried decompression.
Thank you everyone who came and brought their amazing energy.
Thank you to the fabulous Brighton store team and for all the collaboration

It’s been a long time since I felt part of a team.
As a yoga teacher it’s been such a privilege to meet and work with so many incredible people… but… when it comes to building, growing, expanding projects and ideas… it’s been a pretty lonely journey.
