I’m Pippa and I’m this years Welfare Officer. If I’m not at lacrosse training you’ll either find me reading while listening to Taylor Swift, baking or somewhere in Chalk! I’ve only played lacrosse for the past year but have loved being a part of the club. From the chaotic but memorable Wednesday socials (where I’ve been painted green, dressed as a cow and as Gru) to watching the sunset at Thursday training, lacrosse has become a big part of my Uni experience.

I’m Elsie, I’ve been playing lacrosse for about a year now and haven’t looked back since. It had such a big impact on my uni experience last year and can’t wait for what’s to come. I love being part of that team atmosphere and miss those hectic rainy day training sessions with everyone x bring on lax 2023/24!

I’ve played lacrosse on and off since year 7 and really enjoyed being part of the society for the past year meeting loads of amazing people. I’m really looking forward to creating and developing a new team and learning how to work together in order for everyone to play their best. And of course the socials every wednesday are always are highlight. Among the memorable socials my fav one from last year has to be pub golf, and much looking forward to the return of it again this year. I’m Jayna and I’m the treasurer and charity this year. I started playing lacrosse when i was in uni. My favourite part of lacrosse is seeing everyone working together as a team to score and support each other. The best part of lacrosse is meeting new people and getting to know them.

I’m Audrey and I’m the first team defence captain. I’ve been playing for 5 years now. The best thing about joining lacrosse for me is getting to meet new people! My favorite memories made would be the practices. I love seeing everybody getting together to play lacrosse and having the best time.

I’m Anna and I’m your first team attack captain. I’ve played attack position in lax for 6 years through both school and uni. I love being part of lax as the club is kind, social, inclusive and competitive.

I’m Sorcha and I’m the club Vice President for this year. I’ve been playing lacrosse for 3 years and I absolutely love it! I’ve only been at Sussex for one year but the club is absolutely amazing, there’s such a sense of sisterhood here and the support & inclusivity is unreal. I’m looking forward to winning the league this year (obviously) but I’m also looking forward to getting back to training! I’m always here to lend an ear to anyone who needs it during their time here at Sussex, and I’m so excited for this year with the club!

I'm Olivia and I'm the club's President. This is my first year in the role and I'm very excited to see how the year goes both socially and in play. I've been playing lacrosse for 6 years but have only been at Sussex for 1, however, I feel I've been here for much longer. The lacrosse community is super inviting as you'll really feel like you're a part of something special. I can't wait to meet all our new players and I hope you can all rely on me to make this year a great one.
