Thank you to all who attended the Handicapped tournament on Sunday 25th February and made it a great day of great value for money pool for all involved without having to hear complaints about tables/format/entrants/waiting from the usual 4 who were absent 🤣🤐🤣
This was the last event I’ll be running so was good to go out on a much more pleasant day
With a field of 50 entries, the day ran with matches played in groups with the top 2 players from the 10 groups progressing to a seeded knockout
The bottom 3 went into a Plate event and were joined by the losing players from the main comp last 16 round to make a 42 player comp of best of 3 matches
The day started 11:00am and concluded around 10:45pm following some 160 matches in total
The final was split between Ben Flack and Partab Singh as they opted not to play and split the pot
Well done to Tom Huxtable winning the plate with Rob Painter as runner up
All payments sent out within 24 hours of completion thanks to Lee Rossiter who also did the payment confirmations for entries

First time we’ve tried this format and it worked well in the schedule plan with all comps completed on the day
