Some disclaimers:
👉🏼 this is my personal experience NOT its not fact!
👉🏼 there are OF COURSE exceptions to this but this is the general trend I’ve had in my personal experience when speaking with clients, friends, family etc.
👉🏼 it makes complete sense to me that the people with the most adverse reaction to my goal are women between 40-60. They got absolutely hammered by diet culture. I don’t feel judged by these women at all. I understand why they feel the way they do.
👉🏼 I’ve found men to either be entirely uninterested or incredibly supportive and informative. For me it speaks to the fact that their body changing either way is “less” (please not I haven’t said not…) impactful for them.

I didn’t go to the gym or lift once the whole time I was in NZ. I *briefly* panicked and then remembered that part of the reason I train so hard is to be able to bloody live my life 🫶🏻 it is never just about looking good and ageing well - it’s about LIVING ✨
