They did it! 🏆👏

Today our u10 blacks attended the rangers fc tournament, competing against the very best teams in our age group.

We topped our group before progressing through the quarter-finals and semi-finals to reach our 6th final of the season – and today was our day. 🔥

Across 7 games (84 minutes of football), we conceded just 1 goal, kept 8 clean sheets, and scored 9 goals. An unbelievable team performance from every single player. 👏

Another fantastic day at the Wessex Wanderers Tournament for u10 Blacks, split into both KWA Blacks and KWA Blues.
Both teams topped their groups and played some brilliant football to reach the Cup competition. The Blues were unlucky to fall just short in the semi-finals, while the Blacks battled their way into yet another final.

Unfortunately, it was another runners-up finish for the Blacks, but reaching 5 tournament finals from 5 tournaments is an incredible achievement. Massive credit to all the players for their effort, attitude, and the quality of football on display throughout the day.

The trophies will come. The progress is there for all to see. 👏

A double tournament weekend for our U10 Blacks, competing at Stoke Lane and Brislington against some very talented opposition.

Across both days, the boys played some fantastic football and once again received praise from coaches, parents and spectators for the way they play the game. Their bravery on the ball, willingness to play out from the back and commitment to our style was there for everyone to see.

We once again reached the final in both tournaments but came up just short, finishing runners-up on both occasions. While the trophies may have escaped us, the performances, attitude and togetherness shown by the team were outstanding.

Everyone involved should be immensely proud of what is being achieved. The progress this group continues to make is incredible, and the respect they are earning for the football they play speaks volumes.

A hugely impressive display from both our U10 Blacks and U10 Royals at the Portishead Tournament on Sunday.

Both teams battled their way through the group stages and knockout rounds to reach the Cup and Plate Finals, showing fantastic effort, determination, and teamwork throughout the day. Unfortunately, both sides narrowly missed out in their respective finals, but they should be incredibly proud of what they achieved.

The attitude, commitment, and quality on display from every player was outstanding and a credit to the club. Reaching two finals is a fantastic achievement and shows just how far these teams have come.

Well done to all the players, coaches, and parents for their support throughout the day. The future is bright for Kings Weston Athletic.
