It has been a busy winter for a lot of the members of our wonderful club who have worked so hard on the club grounds to improve our facilities, before the start of the season in April. Some comments from club members.

Two of our members who have been on the television in quiz shows. Nick Theobald who has been on numerous shows and Arthur Harris who has just appeared on Pointless. Did we get a mention to promote the club? I’m sure they ask you what hobbies you have. 😂

It was a lovely afternoon at our presentation lunch on Sunday 23rd November at the Holiday Inn Bristol - Filton the food was lovely and staff were very professional and attentive.
Well done to all the winners of our internal competitions and for the first year our End of Season Awards 2025 nominee finalists.

On Sunday 24th August, 4 members of the club attended Long Ashton’s mixed fours annual tournament which was an enjoyable day made extra special as we came third out of 22 clubs. 👏👏

Come along to our Bowls Big Weekend tomorrow Saturday 24th May , we have two sessions 10.30-12.30 and 1.30-3.30 don’t worry if you haven’t booked just come along and have some fun. Just wear flat soled shoes and we’ll provide the rest. If we are unfortunate to get heavy rain you are welcome to come along on a Saturday morning at 11.00am.

Today was our internal triples competition. All teams were drawn randomly so nobody knew who they would be playing with. Congratulations to the winning team proving that this is a sport men and ladies can compete against each other and are equal. Well done ladies. 👏👏👏👏
