Last minute decision to got to Pembroke the other weekend with a splattering of climbing thrown in for good measure!

Probably the most enjoyable HVS I've climbed so far this one at Carreg y Barcud and already itching to go back...

Final 3 Peaks of the year for me working for . Tough physically and mentally for all, but SUCH an inspiring group of people getting together for a very worthy cause. That makes it worth it. That and the views of course. Sunset on the Ben was epic! Cheers to Rich for the pics.

I am a qualified Mountain Leader, and member of the Mountain Training Association, with experience navigating the mountains of the UK in all weather conditions!

The session on the 23rd will focus on navigating using just the map, and on the 24th we will focus on compass skills. Come along to both, or pick just one, its up to you! They will be workshop-style, and tailored to your goals.

Dont look down... final route of the day at Swanage with Paul. I think like everyone, headgame is such a massive thing for me in trad climbing. The stars aligned on Saturday and I managed my first E1 trad lead, 'The Spook'. Chuffed with that!

One of those weeks that's had me falling in love with the hills again. No climbing, but dusted off the fell running shoes for a trip up Robinson from Buttermere - forgot how good it feels to be fast and light in the mountains ❤
