OUR MONDAY EVENING CLASS IS NOW AT CAPACITY 🥋💜

This group has grown into something really special. The consistency, support and commitment in the room each week has meant we’re now full.

If you’d like to be part of the next intake, please get in touch via email at [email protected] to register your interest. I’ll let you know as soon as a space becomes available or when new classes are added to the timetable.

In the meantime, I have some limited availability for private 1:1 and small group sessions if you’d prefer to start sooner.

It’s lovely to see so many women in Bristol choosing to begin their karate journey with Bristol Women's Karate, thank you!
Lindsey 😊

Monday nights that make you feel good 🥊🥋

We kicked things off with UWE Women’s Kickboxing (5–6pm at Jump Studios), focusing on pad work and sharpening footwork to make striking powerful and effective from different distances.

Then it was straight into Women’s Karate (6.30–7.30pm at Bristol South Aikido Dojo), working on smooth combinations, applying them in pairs drills, and finishing with kata and a good stretch.

Strong bodies, focused minds, and a great way to start the week 💪✨

Last night we kicked things off with kihon, sharpening up the fundamentals and building strong technique from the ground up.

From there we moved into paired drills, this time keeping them free flowing rather than prescriptive. This approach encourages everyone to play to their strengths, adapt to the targets and opportunities that appear, and understand that there isn’t always a single “right” response to an attack. The focus is on awareness, timing, and confident decision making.

We wrapped up the session with kata, with small groups working together to support each other.
