Delighted to have won the British Masters National title for the 5th time yesterday. It was a very tough match, and not the smoothest preparation but sometimes experience helps you find a way.
Grateful to still be competing - and loving it. Thank you to everyone who supports me.

Redland Green girls together again on the junior squash circuit, this time at the English Junior Championships 2026.
I know how much training and dedication goes into the preparation for these events, so congratulations to both girls on their achievements.
We are very proud that our club has another England junior champion with Abigail winning the GU11 event and Holly finishing in 11th position with another year still to go in this category.

Congratulations Abi on winning the GU11 British Junior Championship.
It is such a pleasure to see you achieve this goal that you set yourself two years ago. What a journey we have been on, from achieving your level 1 squash skills four years ago to now an age-group champion.

Your calm composure on court, your dedication to the sport and your attitude to life are outstanding qualities.
I look forward to continuing to share this squash journey with you.

Another competitive weekend of squash at the English Junior Championships for our Redland Green players.

It has been almost 20 years since our club has had a national junior champion and Holly Thompson achieved that yesterday winning the GU9 title in style. She had put in so much effort in the weeks building up to the event and the title is well deserved. Congratulations!

Abigail Zeng also gave her all, narrowly losing 11-9 in the 5th game to secure 4th place in the GU11 event.

Well done to both girls and to their parents for their fabulous support.

I’m delighted to announce that the Redland Green squad of junior tournament players is growing and we had 7 juniors competing in the England Squash Silver event on the weekend. We are so proud of our two champions - Abigail Zeng, the winner in the GU11 event and Holly Thompson, the winner in the GU9 event. Rose Williams, as a 9/16 seed, exceeded all expectations by placing 4th in the GU17 event. Jonny, Ben, Oscar & Jack all enjoyed the experience of competing against stronger players and came back from the event inspired and keen to press on with renewed vigour.

Another great weekend of squash supporting Abigail in her first British Junior Open. She won 2 of 5 matches, showing huge determination and competitive spirit as she was 2-0 down in both but came back to win 3-2. I am so proud of her efforts and am already looking forward to next year's event in the same category with newly gained experience and confidence.

Abigail takes the gold in the Chichester Silver tournament today in the Girls U11 event. What a happy smile! It had been a great week of squash training with Mohammed El Shorbagy getting on court with her in our session earlier in the week, offering inspiration and a few tips for the weekend.

Happy to be competing again this season on the England Squash masters circuit and proud to have defended my WO55 National title yesterday. Thank you to Helen for another close match and to Steve for his continued support.

Congratulations to Abigail for an incredible 7th place in the Mixed U9 draw at the British Junior Championships this weekend - top finish for a girl. What a pleasure to watch you play, never giving up and staying calm throughout your matches.
We were also treated to an entertaining exhibition match by Nick Matthews and Daryl Selby inspiring the next generation of junior squash players.

What a great week at the World Squash Masters in Poland. Proud to be a silver medalist in the WO55 event. Great to catch up with squash friends from around the world, special thanks to my husband for all his support and to John Welton for being in my corner throughout the tournament.
