were commended for supporting their diverse community, player centred coaches, and growing Women’s team, enabling our Junior girls to continue their lifelong engagement with the sport!

Arthur Marsden⚽️
Arthur is a passionate and dedicated football coach with a degree in Sports Science, and a strong commitment to developing young players!
Having grown through the game as both a player and a learner, he discovered his love for coaching through the positive influence and lessons of the coaches who shaped his own journey.
Arthur’s footballing philosophy focuses on nurturing self-confidence, creativity, and a sense of purpose in every player. He believes football is more than just a game - it’s a powerful vehicle for growth, learning, and personal development.
Through his thoughtful and player-centered approach, Arthur aims to help young athletes unlock their potential both on and off the pitch.

Jeremy Toombs ⚽️
Jeremy comes to us with a wealth of experience, and is particularly known for his ability to engage with young people from all walks of life!
His Deep South U.S accent can be heard across the pitches with passion, and he always has wisdom to share!
Despite being fairly new to “soccer”, Jeremy has always played sports and is a very keen martial arts competitor and also played a lot of basketball, American football and baseball!
He also works with children in SEN, and is equipped with an array of skills that are most welcome at Wessex Juniors!

Introducing your GIRLS ASSISTANT COACH…
Evie Trimble ⚽️
Having grown up around football, the game has always been a big part of Evie’s life. Her brother plays for , and now she’s proud to be part of the Woman’s club too!
Evie has a passion for the game and for helping young girls fall in love with football. Coaching gives her the chance to pass on that enthusiasm and create a space where players can grow in confidence, build friendships, and have fun along the way.
Her favourite part of coaching is watching the team’s hard work pay off - from their first goals to the smiles that come with every bit of progress.

Introducing your LEAD COACH…
Ben Bloys ⚽️
Ben started his coaching career 4 years ago back home in Minehead, assisting their U18’s before moving to Bristol and joining Wessex Wanderers and Bristol City.
During this time he has managed to achieve a degree in football coaching, and completed numerous coaching qualifications in the process.
His experience across all age groups, from U6s to U18s, provides him with knowledge as to how different individuals learn and develop, making him a great addition to our team!

George Felix ⚽️
George has been playing football from a young age and is here to provide for the future stars.
He brings his knowledge and experience from being Vice Captain for U18s and becoming a first team regular!
He has played in the Junior premier league, and participated in huge International tournaments in the Netherlands, Italy and the Gothia Cup!
His energy is a great addition to our coaching team 💪🏼
