Recent results for testing of blue-green algae confirm that levels have lowered, but we need to remain vigilant.

We will actively watch for and disperse any visible algae scums and continue to use the aerator overnight and update you if reported levels change.

Thank you to all the full members and staff who came to the Club AGM last night. It was a positive evening with lots of helpful feedback and discussion. We were delighted to host Adam Elms as our closing speaker. Adam coordinates the Blind and Visually Impaired (VI) community outreach group at the Lake and shared moving feedback from those group members of what using the Lake means to them.
He also read two poems - one called “Things I’ve heard in the sauna”, the second “What I love about the Lake” written in half a hour during the AGM from member input at the start - an amazing feat!

Some staff sickness today, limit bought into 80 metres for remainder of session.

Due to low water levels, diving and jumping from the pontoon are not allowed. We realise this will be disappointing for some but safety comes first.

Sauna closed today whilst we rectify problem with the emergency alarm. Apologies for any inconvenience.

Please note the furthest steps have had a temporary fix and are in action. Please do take care when coming up and down as have a little bounce. Due to weight and age of both steps that have been closed, we are looking at options to have new lighter ones created. But one is back open in the meantime ☺️
