We did it!
We won our semi-final yesterday.
We can’t wait to experience the final in May.
The boys have played so well this season, really embracing fitness training and tactical training with the guidance of our coaches Lee and Stu. This really shows in there performance as a team on the pitch.
Thank you to Lee and Stu for there dedication. Thank you to the boys for their hard work individually and as a team. And a thank you to all the parents/spectators that support them week in week out.

We have had 3 weeks of postponed
Matches due too the weather and the boys came back with a great performance today over at Coalpit Heath.

I’ve been saying to the boys that we had a off day last time we played them and it was well proven today.

we’ve been working on long balls over the top dropping slightly deeper to deal with their long balls and following up on their goalkeeper when in attack and the boys executed the game plan perfectly today.

Great to see us bounce straight back after going 1 down which was completely against the run of play.

Some really good performances all over the pitch today and great scenes when the free kick went in! Straight from the training ground!

Through to the quarter finals against Keynsham!

Overall a good job well done, excellent from every player today.

Disappointing result but plenty of positives.

The boys started the game perfectly and we looked the much better team in the first period of the game, keeping the ball in their half winning a number of corners and creating good chances, on another day we could have been 3-0 up after 15 minutes. Then we had 5 minutes of craziness conceding some really soft goals. I’ve always told the boys that everyone at some point is going to make a mistake but it’s how you react to those mistakes that matter and it was great to see the boys react positively and get back to 3-3 unfortunately in the second half we conceded another 2 goals 1 of which was certainly avoidable but again we pushed on and nearly got the 5th goal at the end with Monty hitting the inside of the post a good save from the penalty spot from their keeper and 2 good shouts for hand ball in their box at the end.

Overall it was a game we lost rather than a game they won and I think we looked the better team for the majority, our forward passing was good with plenty of through balls and we definitely don’t have a problem scoring goals. We’re still learning and with more games and training the mistakes will get fewer and I’ve no doubt we’re capable of beating both teams we’ve lost to in the return games.

Much better today!

Much better start to both half’s of football today, we ran more than they did we battled better and we played some lovely football at times, our shape was also much better which allowed us to play football in their half. Much improved and great to see the boys bounce back and put the lessons we learnt from last week into practice. A really good full debut from Sam today and great to see Wisdom at the end of the the game

What a game! Another 3 points in the bag.

We’ve been talking about/working on team spirit and really taking it to teams in the second half-both were evident today.

To come back and win after being 3-0 down at half time is amazing.

Another 2 players making debuts today, Frankie and Frazer who both done very well! We’re still a work in progress but we will get better and better as the season goes on.

Second half was incredible not only scoring 4 goals but then managing the last 20 minutes keeping our shape and concentration very well.

The whole squad showed great understanding and maturity today.

It was great to see all the boys with smiles on their faces and getting into a huddle at full time. It’s exactly what they deserve after all their hard work and a very hard season last year.
