On 25 September, Weβre running the Bristol half marathon to raise vital funds for Gympanzees, which is a Bristol-based charity that provides play, exercise and friendship opportunities to people with disabilities and their families.
Gympanzees is planning on opening the UK's first, fully inclusive leisure facilities around the UK. The first will be in the Bristol area and will cater for the play, exercise and social needs of the 58,000 children and young people, from 0-25 years old, with disabilities who live in the area.

Itβs been a while since Iβve been on here but Iβve taken my own advice and have curved out some time for myself to rest + reset β¨

This September Iβll be running 30kms in nature within 30 days to help raise funds for Avon Wildlife Trust and support the important work they do.
AWT is the largest local charity working to protect wildlife and inspire people to do their bit in the West of England. They are building important ecological corridors, restoration projects for moorlands, and are doing a lot of work around Bristol city as part of their My Wild City campaign - working to restore and protect 8 urban green spaces around Bristol! π³β¨
This Thursdayβs yoga class (6pm) will be donation based live streamed (and recorded) to raise money for AWT. Any donation would be hugely appreciated (link in bio) β¨ππΌ

Super proud and relieved that we completed the Bath two tunnels marathon yesterday π
all the hard work and training has paid off! It all started off at the beginning of the pandemic when we were only allowed an hour of physical exercise a day. Started with 5km and kept on building step by step from there. It was great to focus on a challenge throughout all this and running outdoors helped with my mental health by giving me a sense of purpose. Running also gave me a kind of rhythmic moving meditation, similar to what I experience in yoga π§π»ββοΈ You can lose yourself for hours by focusing on the task at hand. β¨ππ»ββοΈ
