Another roller coaster season! But before we hang up the skates (well… for a few weeks 😅), we’ve got some big thank yous to give…

𝗣𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿𝘀 – the dedication, resilience and team spirit have been incredible to watch all season. There's been some tough training sessions & hard-fought games but you gave it your all and represented the Snowdogs with pride. We are proud of each and every one of you.

𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗙𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘀 – Thank you for your continued support behind the scenes. From lifts to training, road trips, cheering from the sidelines and everything in between - the club simply wouldn’t run without you. Your encouragement and positivity mean more than you know.

Every pass, shot and defensive move depends on how well you move on the ice. Strong edges, balance and control are what separate players who can just “play” from those who can dominate the game.

With a thriving membership of players aged 5 through to 19+, the Academy continues to establish itself as one of the UK’s fastest-growing grassroots hockey programmes, offering a complete development pathway from first steps on the ice through to competitive junior hockey.

The past season has seen the Snowdogs community expand rapidly, delivering over 200 training sessions and events, while welcoming a steady influx of new players through its popular Learn-to-Play programme.

This growth reflects the club’s commitment to:

Young players are now entering the sport in greater numbers than ever before, building a strong and sustainable future for the club.

These achievements highlight the Academy’s ability to nurture talent and open doors to higher levels of the game, making it an ideal environment for ambitious young players.

Across all age groups, the 2025–26 season provided invaluable exposure to competitive hockey:
• U19 team competing strongly
• Developing U16 and U14 squads gaining vital experience against established clubs
• U10 and U12 groups showing clear improvement in skills, scoring and confidence

While results are still evolving, the emphasis remains firmly on long-term development, resilience and progression—key ingredients for future success.
