Moving out and got leftover food? Don't bin it - donate it!

UWE Bristol is offering a free doorstop collection service for non-perishable food, with all donations going to FareShare Southwest to support people facing food insecurity.

📍Available to students in BS7, BS16 and BS34

Tins, pasta, cereals, cartons and dries goods all welcome- just have them bagged and ready at the door!

Collection Dates: Tues 2nd June, Thurs 4th June, Thurs 11th June, 12:00-15:00

The lendable re-usable cup scheme trial is now live on UWE Frenchay Campus!

Pick up a hot drink from The Atrium, Wild Kitchen or SU Bar in one of the Lendable reusable cups, and drop them in the purple bins afterwards, so the cups can be cleaned and reused!

We are planning to roll out Lendable fully later this year! The scheme aims to help UWE to drastically reduce its waste output!

Congratulations to and .comets for winning this year's Greenwr Futures competition for UWE sports clubs and societies!

This academic year clubs and socs competed to complete a range of sustainability related challenges, earning points as they went! Competition was fierce, but in the end it was Cheerleading and Psychology who prevailed!

Greener Futures will return next year, with new challenges and opportunities! If you or your society are interested in getting involved and want more info, drop us a message! 💚

We are super excited to tell you about a student-led Bio Blitz wildlife survey taking place next week on Wednesday 29th April, starting at 10:30am at the UWE Frenchay Field Lab! 🦔

The survey will aim to record as many species of wildlife as possible on UWE Frenchay Campus to get a better idea of the state of Biodiversity at UWE! 🌱

If you are interested in Ecology, or Biological/Environmental Science, this is a fantastic opportunity to get involved with a small-scale project that could make a big difference! 💚
