Do you know anyone with children aged 5-7 that would like to get started with karate?

We have a few spaces left for the upcoming term of our popular β€˜Bushido Warriors’ karate course for kids.

The next 12-week course starts on Friday 20th September and costs Β£65. Classes run on Fridays at 5:45pm and last for 40 minutes - the perfect time for this age group.

Sessions take place at Backwell Parish Hall, where we’ve been running the course since 2012. We’re proud to have lots of members that started on this course going on to great things - from earning black belts to winning national-level medals!

Spaces are available on a first come, first served basis and the course tends to get fully booked. To find out more or to book a space, tap the link below and get in touch!

β›” CLASS CANCELLATION β›”

With Storm Eunice causing significant disruption and dangerous conditions on Friday, we've taken the decision to cancel all classes on Friday evening. All members have been sent an email with further details.

While a red weather warning is due to end at midday, at the time of writing there continues to be an amber warning in place until 9pm, with wind speeds of up to 80 mph. Although it's disappointing to have to cancel classes, the safety of our members is our priority.

Our training schedule returns to normal after Friday. Our next scheduled class will be Backwell's Sunday morning class.

This is the book that caught the eye of many of our Senior Instructors. They were so intrigued that they wanted to find out more.

This book has been donated to us to raise money for The Transplant Association, the KUGB's Charity for 2018/2019 and you can be in with a chance of winning it by donating to the KUGB's JustGiving page.

For every Β£1 you donate, your name will be put into a "hat", so if you donate Β£10, you will get 10 chances to win :-D

We will be holding the draw for this book at the Free Black & Brown Belt Course in Egham on 1st December so you have plenty of chances to enter.

Please be generous. Kevin Mashford would not be with us today without a transplant. Thank you.
