LTA 14U Girls County Cup Finals | Nottingham | 15-17 May 2026

The Avon 14U Girls travelled to Nottingham last weekend to compete in the County Cup Finals. The event was played across both indoor and outdoor courts, creating a fantastic high performance environment across the three days.

Avon made a strong start with a great win against Essex, followed by a narrowly decided contest with East of Scotland. The team then produced an impressive victory over Middlesex.

Day 3 Avon were up against Lancashire for 3rd/4th place positions.

Despite a highly competitive performance, Avon finished an excellent 4th place overall, a significant national achievement.

The team showed outstanding spirit and maintained positive attitudes throughout, a fantastic experience for all involved, with plenty learned and many positives to take forward.

Thank you to our coaches Elly and Lauren for their time and support throughout the weekend.

Avon 040s Women enjoyed their first match against Hereford & Worcestershire on Sunday, playing at Coombe Di**le, the matches didn’t go Avon’s way this time, but a great day of tennis for the team.
