Bristol Racing is the University of Bristol student-led electric motorsport engineering society entering the Greenpower Formula 24+ competition.

What a race!!
We're delighted to say that in our first ever race as a society we have placed 13th out of 25 in the Greenpower F24+ category at Castle Combe.
It was a thrilling race that saw our BR01 car rise from 17th on the grid to 12th before suffering from our motor overheating which forced us to retire at the 45 minute mark.
We were also honoured to have been awarded the Spirit of Greenpower award for "the team/individual who stands out for positive reasons and have a positive attitude in the face of adversity".
Thank you to whole team for the time, effort and commitment you put in to making this a reality. We could not have done it without you and we can't wait to get started on next year's car in a few weeks time!
We'd also like to say thank you to all the staff and volunteers at Greenpower who made it a very welcoming and inclusive environment for our new team, as well as to the other teams we talked to who were incredibly open and gave us some great advice for future developments for our next car.

Bristol Racing... is going green.
Following extensive talks with the faculty we have taken the bold decision to redirect our ambitions to enter the Greenpower Formula 24+ competition, thereby ending our interest in Formula Student.
We see Greenpower as the best way of providing our members with the practical experience they need from a society like ours, allowing them to design, build and endurance race an electric car from the word go.
We hope you are all as keen about the challenge as we are, and we're looking forward to sharing our progress as the year goes on!

Hey everyone 👋. Our first industry talk this year is being given by Zuzanna Plocke a Bristol graduate working as an aerodynamicist at Mercedes AMG F1. The talk is being held on the teams channel between 6:30pm and 7:30pm this Thursday (11th Nov.) . Hope to see you all there!
