Eastville junior parkrun

It's been National Volunteers week this week. A huge thank you, as always, to the fabulous people that make this event happen, week after week.

Big congratulations to Molly for reaching her 25th Volunteer Milestone today! 🤩💜Thanks for all you do to support Eastville JPR.

Special mentions also to Erin-Rose and Tymon for volunteering for the first time today. Tymon is a regular runner with us and very kindly acted as timekeeper today as he has a race tomorrow. Go Tymon!!

If you would like to try volunteering, please email [email protected] - it's super easy and a great way to start your Sunday! We welcome volunteers of all ages though some roles (marshal and tailwalkers) require an adult companion if you are under 18.

Wow, 39 fantastic athletes today for event number 403! 13 first time visitors to Eastville juniors, 7 of those doing their first ever junior parkrun! Congratulations - we hope that you really enjoyed it and come back next week 🙌

Milestone Monday!

Congratulations to Gloria on receiving her half marathon wristband yesterday. Think it must have special powers as she also got a shiny new PB!!

Congratulations to all of todays 36 finishers! Lots of energetic legs and smiley faces on the course today, a perfect way to start the day. Thanks to all of our volunteers and a big thank you to the Mum that brought cakes to say thank you! Cake and junior parkrun go together like Batman and Robin! 🧁🍰 Well done to our three first timers and to Manpriya who can claim her half marathon wristband next week 🤩🙌🏃‍♀️‍➡️🏃‍➡️
