We held our first Pilates retreat at Church Farm Estate today and it was sooooo cosy. Big thank you to our lovely instructor (and fellow Kington Langley resident) Phillippa, for leading our candlelit class this morning too. 🩶

✨’Em-Fit Fusion’ class now open for January & February bookings!✨

Fridays 9:30-10:30am at the beautiful Church Farm Estate in Kington Langley, near Chippenham.

It’s a friendly personal trainer-led class taking influences from a variety of disciplines including Pilates, yoga and bodyweight resistance training. Efficient movement & core strength are at the centre of what we do and it’s really a chance to focus on the bits we know we SHOULD be doing but struggle to make make the time for in busy lives!

It’s a pay-as-you-go set up via the ClassFit app and the class capacity is 8 ladies to ensure everybody has enough attention…

I’ve relocated! Today’s my first day at new premises in Clifton Village .gymset

🎉Celebrating 13 years as a women’s fitness coach 🎉

Here are the top 5 things I’ve learned over the years…

1). Endorphins are powerful. Usually about 30-40 mins into a session, no matter what challenges they’re facing in their lives or what frame of mind they start their session in, my clients generally come out with something really positive!

2). ANYBODY can change their body composition if they want to with the right guidance. Yes, many factors can affect the tempo at which it happens but fundamentally everybody can do it.

3). Exercise has a profound positive effect on curbing anxiety & depression. I’m no scientist but this is undeniable.

4). There’s no ‘one size fits all.’ An approach suitable for one client could be totally wrong for another. With this in mind I have never given two people the same session.

5). Health and happiness are so VERY closely linked. Can you truly have one without the other?

💫 World Mental Health Day 💫

I won’t be writing anything profound about mental health, partly because I can’t think where to start and partly because apparently Instagram photos are barely seen anymore since it’s all about Reels now! 🤯 I literally don’t understand where people find the time to create and edit mini videos… 🤷🏼‍♀️

That said, regular movement outdoors with those you love is never wrong and a solid step in the right direction where maintaining good mental health is concerned ⬆️

What a rollercoaster of emotions this week!

Most importantly, eternally grateful to our truly inspirational Queen for all those years of service and for providing familiarity, solidarity and comfort in otherwise turbulent times. THANK YOU. 🇬🇧

Secondly, quite a week for parents with little ones off to school or nursery for the first time! I never understood why people posted photos of their kids’ first day at school but I now get it. ALL the feels.

After a great response from last Friday’s taster class at the beautiful it’s now possible to book spaces on the Friday 10:30am class which begins next month 😊

💫 ONE MONTH TO GO! 💫

Em-Fit Fusion class begins FRIDAYs at 9:30am from 9th September at Church Farm Estate, Kington Langley.

This hybrid class pulls influences from yoga, Pilates and body weight resistance training.

It’s an hour a week to focus on YOURSELF. The goal? To feel strong and to move well.
