Lacrosse returns to Bristol this summer with our weekly training sessions. On Saturday we came together to celebrate our club, reflect on a brilliant year of lacrosse, and recognise the players who’ve made this season so special — both on and off the pitch!

A massive congratulations to everyone who picked up an award, and a huge thank you to Len & Lowri for organising yet another fantastic EOSM! We also wanted to give a big shoutout to this year’s committee, captains, coaches, and every single player who’s contributed to the club this season — Bombers is what it is because of all of you! 💣

💣 BRISTOL BOMBERS AT NKI! 💣

No Bristol Bombers fixtures this weekend — but plenty of Bombers attended the Nick Kehoe International! 🥍

South Development Squad: Eric, Hayden, Stevo, Will & Stansbury
They had a tough start on Saturday, but a huge turnaround on Sunday — finishing by winning the Development Cup with a 4–3 win! 💥

💣Special shoutout to Eric for picking up MVP for his outstanding saves!

South Senior Squad: Mark, Josh & Tav
They had a strong weekend with 4 wins from 5 on Saturday, holding eventual winners North West to 6–4. Finished 4th overall (out of 12) — the best result for South Senior in 10 years! 👏

Team Éire (Ireland): Bebhinn
Thrown together just an hour before the first game, the squad quickly found their feet — picking up two wins and growing in confidence with every match!! Despite a few losses, they kept improving throughout the day!💚

We also had players Izzy and Alice who represented the Midlands, Steff who played for Wales Dragons, Dom playing for English uni’s and Scott representing Scotland!!

A MASSIVE showing from Bombers across multiple teams, with loads of great lacrosse played, some brilliant results and lots learnt!

🏆INTERMEDIATE FLAGS CHAMPIONS 2026!!🏆

What. A. Day.

This weekend our Men’s squad and a huge coach full of Bombers supporters made the trip to London to take on Hitchin in the Intermediate FLAGS Final — and they only went and brought the trophy home!! 💥

With the sun beating down and the sidelines packed with support, the lads put in an unbelievable performance to secure a huge 9–6 win. After last year’s heartbreak in the final, this victory felt even sweeter.

💣MoM: Chase — unreal goals and a massive attacking performance when it mattered most.

DoD: Eric — For some unsportsmanlike behaviour, very naughty 👀

This win is a testament to the hard work this squad has put in all season long. Every training session, every tough match, every early start and long journey — all leading to this moment.

A massive thank you as well to every supporter who made the trip and cheered all day long! It was a long one, but the energy and atmosphere made it fly by. 💛🖤

As the season draws to a close, what a way to finish — together, as champions!

💣 FLAGS FINAL WEEKEND! 💣

This weekend is a huge one as our Men’s 1st team squad hit the road to face Hitchin in the Intermediate FLAGS FINAL!!

A whole coach packed with players and supporters will be making the journey to back the lads — one club, one massive day, and one final push. Let’s show them exactly who the Bristol Bombers are!💥

In the words of last year’s captain and Men’s goalie, Danny Fagan the 2025 finals:

“You work hard all season and it’s unfortunate to come this far just to fall at the final hurdle… but what we’re looking at is building a community at Bristol Bombers — something that’s going to last way beyond our playing days.”

“Next, it’s to win Div 1, win FLAGS — that’s the ultimate aim.”

It’s 2026 and this squad has worked relentlessly all season, building not just results on the pitch but a club culture that keeps working together and pushing forward year after year. Now it’s time for one final battle and a shot at bringing home the silverware!

🏃🏻‍♀️RAGGY RUNS THE LONDON MARATHON!!🏃🏻‍♀️

Bristol Bombers member, Raggy, has swapped her lacrosse stick for her running shoes this season, as she is running the London Marathon THIS weekend for !!

This is a cause very close to her heart, as her cousin’s daughter, Alice, was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma, a rare type of cancer back in Covid. Young Lives vs Cancer were there for her family and we’re really pleased that Alice is now doing really well!❤️

Raggy has trained so incredibly hard for this marathon, and has raised an AMAZING amount for children and young people, with cancer. But we know how much any more support would mean to her so let’s help her smash her target!!

🚨 WEEKEND RESULTS! 🚨

This weekend our Mixed team travelled to face Oxford City in their National Cup semi-final — a huge occasion for the squad!!

While the final score ended 15–2, it doesn’t reflect how close and intense the game was. The team battled hard throughout, showing real growth, determination, and togetherness — a performance to be proud of amongst many others this season!

George — for her incredible saves and an all-round performance keeping us in the game!

Riley — for his strong shift across midfield and attack!!

DoD: Cressie — for casually catching the ball mid-game with her hand, popping it back into her stick and carrying on like nothing happened…!

A tough result, but a massive step forward for our Mixed squad this season — plenty to be proud of and to reflect on! 💣
