π£ British Masters Crew Announcement
Our Bristol Masters squad are heading to Nottingham this weekend for the British Rowing Masters Championship 2026. The Bristol rowers have teamed up with some fantastic regional clubs to put out two highly competitive composite crews.
A big shoutout to everyone joining forces with us from City of Bristol RC, Bideford Reds, Wimbleball, and Greenbank Falmouth RC.
Crew Line Up:
π’ Masters F8+: This is the same crew that put in a solid performance at Vets Head earlier this year, but with a slight twist, Kate Millar is stepping into the coxing seat to steer them down the course.
π’ Masters E4+: Another great combination of regional speed and experience ready to take on the 1k sprint.

Met Regatta Race Results π
Both Saturday and Sunday delivered some intense side-by-side racing with crucial steps forward as we head into the peak of the regatta season.
π SATURDAY HIGHLIGHTS:
Womenβs Club 8+ : A phenomenal showing to secure 5th in the Club 8+ category overall, setting a brilliant marker for the weekend!
Men's 1st Club 4-: Fought hard through a massive field to take a fantastic 7th place in Club 4- overall!
Men's 2nd Club 4-: Dominated their final, storming ahead to WIN the D Final! (Overall ranking 14th in club)
Women's Club 4-: Battled hard through the time trial to book a spot in the B Final, placing a strong 8th in Club
Women's Club 2x: A strong 5th place finish in the B Final
π SUNDAY HIGHLIGHTS:
Womenβs Club 4+: Reached the A FINAL and placing 5th in Club.
Womenβs Club 8+: Back at it again, flying down the course to take 1st in the D Final
Womenβs Champ 4x: A spectacular performance to take 2nd in the D Final
Womenβs Club 4-: Claimed 3rd in the C Final.

The womenβs club and masters squads traded the bank holiday long weekend for some fierce racing on the River Wye at Monmouth Regatta. With strong performances across both squads, it was a fantastic weekend of racing.

π’ W4+
A stellar run for the 4+! They laid down the marker with a dominant Round 1 win over local rivals Bristol Ariel, backed it up by defeating Evesham RC in Round 2, and fought hard all the way to the line in the Final, just missing out to a tough Cardiff Uni crew.
π W MasB/D 4x- WINNERS!
Great performance from the Masters Quad. They executed a clinical race in the Final to take a brilliant win over Evesham RC and bring home the Monmouth pots!
πMx MasD/F 4x- WINNERS
Another brilliant win! The mixed quad put together a superb race in the Final, taking the victory over Gloucester RC to add another set of pots to the collection.
π’ W8+
The eight drew a tough Round 1 matchup against a fast Warwick Uni crew. The women gave it everything against a crew that went all the way to the final.
π’ W 4x-
A fantastic effort from the quad, who battled their way through to the Semi-Finals.
A massive thank you to Monmouth RC for hosting a brilliant weekend of racing.

National Schools Race Results
Our junior squad smashed it at the National Schools' Regatta over the bank holiday weekend. Facing off against the best in the country, the team put on an incredible show. Huge shoutout to everyone who raced, and a special mention to our B-final winners!

A massive day of racing at Dorney Lake for Wallingford Regatta. Despite the heavy schedule, the squad delivered across the board.
Menβs Highlights: A gritty performance from the 4-, fighting through an incredibly deep field to progress to the repechage in the competitive Club category.
Womenβs Highlights: Double final success for the 8+ and 4+. Special mention to the four athletes who showed serious engine, racing four times each throughout the day.
Coachβs Highlight: The support team on the bank put in the miles, with the coaches clocking 40km+ on the bikes following the crews.
Strong momentum built as we head further into the regatta season. Well done to all.
