Indoor training started last night Gloucestershire County Cricket Club. Joe and his older Benedict bowled very well, with Joe exploring his approach to left handed batsman by coming around the wicket. Additionally, Benedict concentrated on his line and length and displayed an extra yard in pace which is always pleasing. Both have 12 week District programmes starting next week which is excellent.

Well done two of the boys from Bishopston's presentation evening last night. Will Hosier was awarded young player of the year award and Dom Oakes received the u17s player of the year! Both worked very hard on their bowling over the summer and I believe there is a lot more to come from these lads!
CONGRATULATIONS!! Joe Arthure (u10), Benedict Arthure (u15), Dan Whetton (u15) and Lewis Mason (u17) have been invited to attend winter training programmes from which the District squads will be selected for the 2016 season. All worked very hard on their games this year and have been rewarded with a great opportunity to further develop their skills over the winter months. Well done!

With some good weather came better training sessions today with an emphasis on fielding, a discussion of the progress made and the establishment of future targets. Here are some of the fielding drills we went through today.

Hello everyone.
I have been on holiday and had my bag stolen with my phone, wallet and passport in it. I had trouble returning home and had to stay in Spain for a further 3 days. I am now back in England and ready to book sessions in for the rest of this week.
