We recently informed you of the sad passing of one of our dancing friends, Dave Schofield.
Dave’s funeral will take place at 3pm on Monday 14th November at Canford Crematorium, followed by a celebration of his life at BAWA.
Everybody who knew him is welcome.

We have THREE New Adult Beginners Latin and Ballroom classes starting this September. The details are as follows:

Just a quick reminder that this is the final week of term and that the final dance of term is on Friday 22nd July at The Greenway Centre.

Greenway Center We are Bristol's leading partner dance specialists, teaching adults at two locations in the central Bristol area each week.

In light of the fact that no new Covid restrictions were announced yesterday (4th January), our CLASSES ARE GOING AHEAD as planned and as permitted under the government's Plan B guidelines.

We have a new beginners class starting this Wednesday 15th September, arrive 7:30pm. No need to book/register, pay at the door (cash only). Elmgove Centre, Elmgrove Road entrance. See the website for all the details.

Ballroom & Latin Dance Classes Beginner dance lessons for couples and singles

Dance classes will be starting next week as planned and we look forward to seeing everybody who has a confirmed place at one of these classes.

Guidance for events within ‘Covid secure’ venues has not changed since the previous update (13th August) and along with other government documents has steered our planning over the last month to get the new classes up and running.

Classes Still Starting week of 14th Sept "People should continue to socially distance from those they do not live with wherever possible. Social interactions should be limited to a group of up to 6 people with social distancing in place at all times.

Pre-booking Update
I am very sorry that our Beginners and lower levels are now full.
We may be able to introduce more classes or allow higher class numbers as term progresses if restrictions are eased.

However WE STILL HAVE SPACES FOR OUR MORE EXPERIENCED DANCERS in our Level 4 and Top Level classes.

Pre-booking for Autumn Term Update

We have just sent out a mailing opening our class pre-booking process. Filling out the pre-booking form registers your interest in a class. We will then allocate spaces and contact couples to let everyone know if they are in the class or on the waiting list. It will be first come first served so don't wait to register.
