Indoor Bowls Courses – Autumn 2026

ODBC Club Coach Ken Tudor will once again be running his popular Indoor Bowls Courses at Thornbury Active Lifestyle Centre, starting Monday 5th October.

Beginners Course | 7.00pm–9.00pm

Perfect for anyone looking to take up the sport, whether you’re completely new to bowls or just keen to learn the basics of a new sport in a friendly and relaxed environment.

Bowls Improvers & Development Course | 12.00 noon–2.00pm

Ideal for players who have been bowling for a year or two and are now looking to take the next step — improving their understanding of the sport, developing their technique and taking their game to the next level.

Whether it’s you, a family member or a friend, if you’re interested please book early as these courses regularly become oversubscribed.

Congratulations to Joe Hardwick who this afternoon travelled to Vines Park BC in Droitwich Spa to play his Bowls England Champion of Champions match last 32 v Mark Keleta of Lilleshall Hall BC and won 21.8.

Joe will now face Scott Edward’s of Royal Wootton Bassett in the round of the last 16 Nationally🤞

Congratulations to members Joe Hardwick and John Smallwood who last night, won their pairs county semi final to book a place in the county final and a trip to leamington in the National Finals in August.

This is their 3rd consecutive season qualifying in this discipline which is a huge achievement!
