Inclusive swimming lessons at Freeways with Children's Alliance.

Access Sport and the Waves Swim School⁠… ⁠ In 2023, we granted funding to @access_sportuk , a charity that believes no one should be excluded from the transformational benefits of community sport. This grant helped to fund over 400 swimming sessions for disabled children at the Waves Swim School..⁠ ⁠ @waves.swimschool offer specialist swimming lessons for children with additional needs. Their lessons are a friendly and welcoming environment where the children can build a rapport and sense of trust with their teacher, providing them with an opportunity they wouldn’t get in mainstream lessons.⁠ ⁠ Water is an amazing medium and through our knowledge and experience, we know how important it is for children to have access to water to play in, play with, swim in and explore.
