Keynsham 10k

Keynsham 10k Sunday 6th October 2019

The Keynsham 10k has taken place for over 25 years initially organised by 1st Keynsham Scouts until 2013’s event was cancelled because of rising costs. Bristol based charity Empire Fighting Chance, working in partnership with local running club Bitton Road Runners relaunched the race after a 5 year absence, returning for the second year in 2019. Through Empire Fighting Chance events experience we have been able to ensure the race can now make a comeback to benefit all the local community and help fundraise for the benefit of young people from disadvantaged backgrounds across the UK.

Starting at the newly renovated Chocolate Quarter, the race–kindly sponsored by B Block Pizza–takes runners around most of the old route, including Charlton Road and Redlynch Lane, before passing through the beautiful Memorial Park towards the finish line.

Entry is £14 affiliated and £16 non-affiliated, with a finisher’s memento for every runner.

The race will take place on Sunday 6th October 2019 at 9am (with registration opening at 7am).
