Please meet two of our recent additions to the team:

👷Mark Carter, CPCS Assessor, joined us in 2025 after a 30 year career as a plant operator. He is brilliant at sharing his skills and knowledge on site with delegates.
👷Martyn Down ,CPCS/ NPORS Assessor, ITSSAR Instructor and NVQ Assessor, joined us earlier this year with over 5 years experience delivering Plant Training and 15 years as a mobile plant operator.

Both have hit the ground running and have already become highly valued members of the training team.

Sam qualifies as an NPORS trainer
A very familiar face to our delegates, Sam works both within the Kelston Sparkes Training Centre and on customer sites across the South West training and accrediting CPCS plant operators. He has now qualified as an NPORs trainer and will be working with delegates for both CPCS and NPORS going forwards. 👏👏

Did you know....

Kelston Sparkes Training is now able to offer NPORS Mobile Plant Training and Testing across all courses, as well as regular NPORS Safety Awareness one day courses enabling candidates to apply for a CSCS labourers’ card once they pass this and their Health, Safety and Environment Test (which can also be booked at our Test Centre🙂).

Meet Ellie Sawyer, our superstar Training Coordinator. Many of you will know her as Ellie Cox, but she got married recently👰‍♀️👰‍♀️🎊🎉. Congratulations from all the team 🩷

We're getting really busy now the weather is improving and the courses are coming thick and fast! We have a 4 day CPCS combined Forward Tipping Dumper and Ride on Roller course running from 20th – 24th April. A couple of spaces are still available.

"Hello Pauline just wanted to say thank you to you and the examiner that took my son's forward tipping dumper truck test on Friday afternoon. He was very nervous on the day and the examiner recognised this and - to his credit - got my son to relax, which helped him to pass his theory and practical. A huge Happy Birthday to Roger, who at 70 years young, is the longest member of the training team. We were delighted to celebrate with him. Cheers to the next 70 🎂🥂🍾
