I have been accredited with my AALA license.
How will this effect the session
This means parents can drop off children and do not need to stay with the group throughout the session.
This will make it much easier for parents or guardians to bring parties or groups.
It should also give everyone extra peace of mind, knowing these sessions are being run in a safe environment.

Hi, my name is Sam Geer
I grew up in North Wales where my parents owned an Outdoor Pursuits Center, so getting outdoors was something I was literally born into. I began climbing at age 6 and would go on many climbing trips with my family.
I studied outdoor sports at college where my passion for climbing really set in. From there, I have racked up over 15 years of experience working in the outdoor industry and gained my RCDI qualification.
My goal for Geer Up and Climb is to give people the opportunity to get outdoors and into the fantastic climbing the UK has to offer, in a safe and fun way.
I'm especially passionate about getting young people outdoors and climbing. I have been coaching youth climbing groups for several years and there's very limited opportunity for young people to get outdoors, if they don't have parents already into climbing. I want to bridge this gap and provide teaching so they can become safe, independent, outdoor climbers.
